Transform the reference photograph into a standalone contemporary East Asian ink abstraction. Output ONLY the transformed artwork as a single image in a 3:4 vertical format. Do not include the original photograph, a diptych, split panels, comparisons, borders, or frames. Preserve the subject’s recognizable identity and characteristic proportions while translating it into an expressive artistic language of rhythm, silhouette, movement, and atmosphere—not a literal ink reproduction. Identify the subject’s three or four most distinctive features and reconstruct them using spontaneous sumi-e gestures, bold calligraphic strokes, broken contours, minimal structural drawing, translucent watercolor washes, subtle pigment bleeding, and intentionally unfinished forms. Give the composition a strong graphic and sculptural character. Articulate the most recognizable features clearly, while allowing peripheral elements to dissolve into faint traces, scattered dry-brush particles, and atmospheric shadows. Use a deliberately asymmetric composition, positioned slightly off-center with a gentle diagonal movement. Concentrate the reconstruction within approximately 25–35% of the entire canvas, leaving expansive, intentional negative space. The artwork should feel suspended on the paper, with generous untouched space around it. Use refined warm ivory or off-white handmade Japanese paper with barely perceptible organic fibers and delicate tactile grain. Build the artwork with rich carbon black, transparent smoky gray, cool graphite, and extremely pale silver-gray ink. Extract only one or two characteristic colors from the reference and reinterpret them as restrained mineral pigments, such as muted jade, atmospheric indigo, pale mineral blue, or a subtle vermilion gesture. Pigments must appear naturally absorbed into paper, never digitally overlaid. Balance wet saturated brushwork, textured dry strokes, softened edges, and fading washes. Create visual tension between precise structural marks and freely dissolving gestures. The result should feel like an independent, collectible contemporary gallery artwork: elegant, restrained, expressive, poetic, and emotionally evocative. STRICTLY AVOID: any photographic section, diptych or comparison layout, photorealistic painting, literal tracing, digital watercolor filters, crowded compositions, symmetrical layouts, excessive decorative marks, heavy brown tones, oversaturated pigments, artificial paper textures, typography, signatures, watermarks, borders, and distortion of the subject’s defining features. FINAL OUTPUT: ONE standalone ink artwork only, filling a 3:4 vertical canvas.
